British electronic group BOMB THE BASS have been forced to scrap their concert in London on Wednesday (04Jun08) - citing "illness" for the cancellation.
The band, fronted by DJ Tim Simenon, was set to take to the stage at the Astoria along with acts including French punk duo Pravda and Hungarian electronic producer Fine Cut Bodies.
But the gig has been pulled less than 24 hours before it was due to take place.
A statement from the band reads: "Unfortunately due to illness Bomb the Bass have reluctantly cancelled tonight's performance at the Astoria as part of the City Showcase Festival. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and, of course will refund the ticket holders for the full purchase price."
